We are a veteran-owned company and community-based team. Our members are engaged in the community, helping with many youth sports, including Little League baseball and Bradford High School varsity wrestling. We take great pride in our work and proudly place our name on every piece leaving the shop. No one should settle for mediocre performance and as our customer we ensure you never do. Combined we have decades of experience in this industry. We're here to meet and exceed your needs. We would be more than happy to provide free prototypes for any production job. Our work speaks for itself.  

Ryan Mongillo


Ryan is a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving 5 years as a Military Police officer including 1 year in Iraq. The youngest truck commander in his platoon, Ryan was responsible for a gun truck and three-man fire team. He earned a Combat Action Badge and Army Commendation Medal for maintaining a calm, mission-based demeanor while under significant pressure. 


Ryan studied machine shop operation throughout high school, becoming familiar with the Haas Mini Mill and Mastercam software. He picked up several years of machining experience as an operator, running a variety of lathes and learning how to read and troubleshoot code.

Shifting gears to support his young family, Ryan rose from entry-level laborer in process operations at American Refining Group Inc. to shift superintendent in just 6 years with the company. 

He holds an associate degree in firearm technology from Sonoran Desert Institute and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety to better understand safe industrial operation while ensuring regulatory compliance. 

Ryan's also passionate about sporting firearms and repair, hunting, fishing and on-/off-road adventure motorcycling.


Nathan Brooks

Chief Operating Officer

Nathan Brooks already has more than 15 years of machine shop experience. A 2007 graduate of Bradford Area High School, Nathan began his machinist career just two weeks after graduation at a local machine shop. He has become familiar with many shop processes from operating machine tools, to repair and installation.


Nathan is experienced with many applications from large quantities to single-part orders to small, precise assemblies, and has gained practice in machining tight-tolerance parts in several materials including aluminum, tool steel, preheated material, stainless steel and some alloys. 

Andy Brooks

He is skilled in I.T./computer services, networking and CAD software; operation, setup and programming of CNC lathes, mills and wire EDM; machine maintenance and repair; prototype parts and assemblies; machine tools and equipment calibration; and automation with robotic cell and pallet pool applications. Nathan's is a job-shop oriented background (tool and die, fixture work) and he is certified in dynamic balancing.


Andy holds a bachelor's degree from East Stroudsburg. He is a 2007 graduate of Bradford Area High School and resides in Bradford today. 

Working on and off as seasonal labor at American Refining Group while pursuing his degree, Andy was hired full time there in 2012. Beginning as an entry-level blender at the refinery's blending facilities, he advanced through the blender ranks and was ultimately selected for promotion to supervisor at its packaging plant in 2018, his current role.

At Crew Machining, Andy is on point for all things logistics.
